Derg Isle Adventure Centre use sit on top kayaks. This makes it easier to get on and off and they are a lot more stable. As well as kayak and paddles we provide wetsuit, helmet & buoyancy aid as part of your kayaking package price.
Groups get to explore the waterways towards Reddan’s Quay (Tuamgraney) or out to Lough Derg where you may get to discover the famous White Tailed Eagles that are nesting nearby. This is can be a perfect bonus to a challenging and fun adventure activity. Some kayakers brave the water temperatures here may also be the option to go pier jumping at Reddan’s Quay, a fun water activity for all ages! Kayaking is a great all round activity hail, rain or shine! It’s time to paddle.

Take paddling into your own hands and explore Lough Derg and hte river Graney in our fun and easy to use open top kayaks, with fantastic views of Shannon river and the beautiful Sliabh Aughty & Bearnagh Mountains.

Pay & Play Rental
Not up for a full half day session but still want to get wet?! We have new Pay & Play 2hr taster sessions available at various slots in the evenings or every weekend. Participants get all their equipment including buoyancy aid, helmet and wetsuit. Same great fun, just a shorter time! These sessions are non-instructor led but we provide safety boat cover.
